Sports Physicals

Sports Physicals

In New Mexico...

...all children are required to have a sports physical prior to participation in any athletic activity.

A sports physical is different from your child’s routine physical exam because our providers will be specifically focusing on areas of concern or anything that might put your child at increased risk of injury by participating in sports. Any health conditions or previous injuries will be discussed so that they can be monitored or prepared for to reduce injury risk and allow your child to be cleared to participate.

At the end of the exam, our medical providers will give you signed documentation that your child has been cleared to participate in sports.
